MAY 28th:  MAGISTRATES AND THE COURT SYSTEM      

A talk by the Chair of Berkshire Magistrates Association explaining what magistrates do and how the courts work.

JUNE 25th:  ST PAUL’S CHURCH WINDOWS  

Colin Weedon, a parishioner, will give a brief introduction to the history, the Walter family, the Times, Bearwood, etc before moving on to details of the windows, particularly the great West and East windows.

JULY 16th: TOP OF THE GREASY POLE

Mike Brook will be offering a collection of amusing stories about some of the individuals who have  served in 10 Downing Street.

AUGUST 27th:  A DAY IN IRAN AS A HOUSEWIFE

Sandra Simmonds will describe living in Iran and married to an Iranian National.

SEPTEMBER 24th:  AN ACTOR’S LIFE

Jeff Rozelaar will tell of his experiences as an Actor, Producer and Director on stage and in film; giving a more complex and humorous picture of the reality.

OCTOBER 22nd:  THE HISTORY OF WOKINGHAM

Peter Must, Chairman of The Wokingham Society, which seeks to protect the town’s past, present and future, will talk about the town’s heritage.

NOVEMBER 26th:  WOKINGHAM AFTERNOON WI’S 9th Birthday Celebration - Plus Entertainment.

DECEMBER 11th: CHRISTMAS LUNCH - members only - Venue TBA

Sophie Fryer will talk about couture millinery, its history and why couture millinery is different from mass-produced hats.

Lisa Stroud will talk about making Pilates accessible for everyone.
