Wokingham Afternoon WI - Activities:

Sew, Knit & Natter (SKN):

Wokingham Library 2-3:30pm every Tuesday except the 4th Tuesday of the month.  Organised by Jenny.  This is a friendly and relaxing session.  Bring your crochet, embroidery, knitting, sewing or just bring yourself for a natter. Ask at the desk & they’ll point you to our meeting place.

Book Club:

Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Wokingham Library, 2-3:30pm.  We are a welcoming group organised by Tessa & have a large choice of books which often provide some interesting discussions.  Just turn up.

LOTO group:

Our Ladies on their Own lunch group meet monthly on a Sunday, organised by Linda, one of our Welcomers. They visit many local restaurants.  Contact details and a sign-up sheet at our meetings.

Coffee Mornings:

Our members’ meet at the ‘Bradbury Centre’ in Rose Street Wokingham, at 10:30 on the first Wednesday of each month for tea/coffee and a chat. This is a central location, and our table is organised by Nancy & Vera.

Afternoon Tea: Organised by Mary, our social secretary.  We meet towards the end of the month for a chat and tea/coffee. Details given out at our meetings and via email.

Cinema Group: Our cinema group have already watched several films at the Everyman cinema in Wokingham. Organised on Whatsapp.

Walking Group:

Our very new walking group are planning short walks in California, Cantley Park, and Dinton Pastures followed by refreshments afterwards at the cafe. Organised by Angela & Mary. Details at the monthly meetings.

Visitors: As a visitor, you’ll pay just £3 and can come twice before deciding if you feel like joining us as a member.
