Our October Craft was Needle Felted Christmas Baubles
The Craft Group meets on the last Tuesday in the month at 7.30pm and over the year we try out a different craft each month - details are in the Monthly Newsletter.
There is a membership whereby you pay £10 for 5 consecutive meetings (£2 per meeting) rather than £2.50 per meeting if you pay each month, this covers the hall costs. Craft costs are extra and vary each month depending on the cost of the craft.
However, as a member it is important to stress that if you can't come to a session you do not get a refund of that month's hall costs! Put simply - if you only miss one meeting within your £10 membership, you will end up paying the same as if you pay monthly but still have membership benefits.
Membership does give you priority booking if we run a session where we have to limit numbers due to space. It also means that you may get certain meetings free as a benefit of membership.
Recent crafts have included: Decorated Candles - Macramé - Stitching a Greeting Card – Marbling - Origami Flowers - Fabric Boxes - Felted Brooches - Decoupage Boxes
Some of these crafts are put on our Crafts Table for sale at our Spring and Autumn Coffee Mornings.
In September we decorated candles using acrylic paints and pens. These are for decorative purposes only
Our August craft was making Macramé key rings
Our July Craft was Indian Block Printing and we decorated a selection of items including Tote Bags and Aprons
In June we had fun with marbling creating cards and fabric pieces
In May we created beautiful stitched cards
Our April Crafting was fabric covered boxes
In March we made Origami Flowers ready in time for Easter
