Forthcoming Events

Welcome ...why not give us a try, you can be sure of a warm reception.  We meet at 7.30 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the Purley Memorial Hall, Glebe Road, Purley RG8 8DP.  Our Group includes ladies from all walks of life with varied interests and backgrounds.  Have a look at our 2024 Programme to see what's in store for the coming months meetings.  Additional events are often organised, some of which are given below.

📢...Pang Valley Group Meetings - an opportunity to meet with ladies from other WI groups within the locality.

🗓  Monthly informal lunch group - lunch at a local pub/cafe and an opportunity to meet friends old and new.

✂️  Daytime craft sessions - occasional group sessions usually linked to a coffee morning or afternoon tea.

☕️  Coffee Mornings, Soup lunches and Afternoon Teas with plenty of cake and conversation.

🚌  Outings - coach trips to interesting nearby venues i.e Kew Gardens, Exbury, etc.

Purley WI also supports the Whitchurch Art Cafe by selling refreshments and delicious home made cakes on at least two occasions per year.  Our next Art Cafe slot is booked for 22nd June 2024.  

Plus a wide ranging variety of workshops, courses, outings, talks, discussions, craft markets and social events, available to all Members of the WI through both Berkshire Federation and the National Federation of WIs.
